The Center for Business Law projects enable experienced faculty, guest experts, and a network of alumni and other practitioners to share their business acumen, providing students with résumé-building opportunities in the business world.
The Center for Business Law conferences feature distinguished practitioners and scholars.

Every year the Center for Business Law assembles distinguished panels of practitioners and scholars to participate in discussions surrounding timely topics in the business law community. This gives students the opportunity to apply their growing legal knowledge to real-world business issues.

Recently the Center for Business Law came together to discuss the economic impacts of the COVID-19 induced crisis on the poor, minorities and marginalized communities.

The new and booming field of compliance law offers intellectual challenge and influential jobs. The Center for Business Law is one of the few law schools in the country to focus on this area. With a Compliance Advisory Council of knowledgeable practitioners from the compliance field and internships and programming, the center’s compliance focus provides New England Law students with multiple options for learning and involvement in this fast-growing field.

The Center for Business Law faculty members often help students pursue business-related pro bono opportunities, such as the IRS’s Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program, as well as volunteer work on behalf of nonprofits.
