Most interesting experience before law school.

Interning with a congressman. I answered the phone, and veterans called with questions about their benefits. I did a bit of immigration work when people wanted to get certain visas or needed papers to become citizens. It broadened my perspective. I learned that congressmen aren’t people on a pedestal; they’re actually dealing hands-on with constituents on a daily basis.

One of the best experiences I’ve had at law school.

I loved the Public Interest Law seminar I took with Professor Engler. He is so knowledgeable, and we were introduced to different specialties: criminal, immigration, family law—but it’s every type of law, just on the scale of doing it for public interest. It really affirmed that I like to help people, volunteer, and work for my community.

Why did I choose New England Law?

When I first visited, our student tour guide was so personable. That really made an impression on me. I liked the small family-like environment, and I liked Boston. My classmates have been amazing. Since law school is challenging, you definitely benefit from that extra push from your friends.
