Class of 2019

One of the best experiences I’ve had at law school.

Being a judicial intern this semester has been an amazing opportunity. Being in the courtroom is an inspiring and eye-opening experience I would encourage every law student to undertake. It has also presented me with some very interesting legal research and writing opportunities that I am very excited to be working on.

On the Faculty

The faculty at New England Law are very welcoming and encourage dialogue with students both in and out of the classroom. I have found every professor to be very available to the student body. They are also very knowledgeable in their respective areas and eager to share that knowledge with their students.

On Career Services

The Career Services Office was extremely helpful in preparing us for the summer internship process during 1L year. They assisted with building legal resumes and preparing for interviews, and they kept open communication about internship opportunities. These services have continued into my 2L year, and I have found the CSO to be an invaluable tool.

One Piece of Advice for Someone Trying to Decide Where to Go to Law School

Be flexible. Law school is a very new experience coming from an undergraduate program, and some of the habits you may have developed will not be a good fit. Take advantage of programs (like the New England Law Academic Excellence Program) and stay flexible and open to new ways of approaching your studies.
