Domingos Santos, founder of Santos Law Office, PLLC, is a property tax attorney and consultant. Primarily he represents publicly traded, real estate investment trusts and local commercial real estate owners/developers. He also is a managing consultant at Paradigm Tax Group, a state and local tax advisory firm with offices across the country.
Previously, Santos was an attorney in the Commercial Litigation Practice Group at Snell & Wilmer LLP, where he represented large and small businesses, banking institutions, and exempt organizations in cases involving tax matters. He also held the position of deputy county attorney with the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office, where he acted as lead counsel in hundreds of contested property tax appeals involving master planned communities and subdivision projects, and agricultural, commercial, and residential real property.
At New England Law | Boston, Santos was technical editor of the New England Law Review. He gave the valedictory address at the 96th Commencement and was awarded the Dean Arthur W. McLean Award for Academic Excellence as the top graduate in the Evening Division.
Santos is active in the Arizona Chapter of the National Association of Office and Industrial Properties and the State Bar of Arizona, where he serves as chair of the Communications Advisory Committee. He is also the honorary consul of Portugal in the state of Arizona.
