Tara N. Cho is an associate with Poyner Spruill LLP, concentrating in health law and privacy law. Her practice focuses on privacy and information security, and she advises on privacy issues and the identification of potential risks, and the development of associated policies and procedures to maintain compliance. She previously served as legal specialist for Quintiles Corporation.
Her expertise in health care law includes serving as a grant writer/business manager and research investigator for the University of Tennessee College of Medicine. She also has written and co-authored articles on health care and the health-care industry.
Cho was an active member of the New England Law | Boston community, serving as Student Bar Association president; president and co-founder of the law school chapter of the American Health Lawyers Association; and executive editor of Due Process, a student publication.
